Conference outfit checklist
Plan for the whole conference day, including the parts between sessions.
- Check the organizer’s dress guidance. If you’re speaking or presenting, think about the room, microphone and how you’ll move.
- Choose shoes for the amount of walking you expect, including the journey to the venue.
- Try your outfit sitting down and with the bag you will carry.
- Consider a removable layer rather than assuming the indoor temperature will match the weather outside.
- If there’s an evening event, see whether one change works with the same base. Keep a second complete option if the dress guidance calls for it.
- Put the small practical items beside the outfit when packing: charging cable, badge details and whatever the day requires. Wellfolded doesn’t add these for you; they’re your checklist.
